On April 22, Rep. Steve Womack shared that he, along with Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Secretary Turner, toured the Fayetteville Housing Authority’s Hillcrest Towers. He remarked on the opportunity to meet with residents and observe the efforts of the staff firsthand. "Today, @SecretaryTurner, Gov. @SarahHuckabee Sanders, and I had the opportunity to tour Fayetteville Housing Authority’s Hillcrest Towers, where we met with residents and saw firsthand the incredible work being done by the staff."
Later that day, Rep. Womack tweeted about a visit to the University of Arkansas where he, alongside Secretary Turner, received an early look at the university's new Anthony Timberlands Center for Design and Materials Innovation. Concluding these engagements, Womack participated in a roundtable discussion with various local leaders, including elected officials and business owners, to address affordable housing challenges in Northwest Arkansas. He described the meeting as insightful. Steve Womack, currently residing in Rogers, Arkansas, was born in Russellville in 1957. He has represented Arkansas' 3rd District since succeeding John Boozman in 2011. Womack is an alumnus of Arkansas Tech University, having graduated in 1979 with a BA.
