On April 22, 2025, Womack addressed the aftermath of severe storms and tornadoes that affected homes and businesses across Arkansas. He expressed his support for Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders' request for federal aid in a tweet, emphasizing his commitment to assisting those impacted: "Severe storms and tornadoes have devastated homes and businesses across the state. Steve Womack has been serving in Congress since 2011 after succeeding John Boozman. Born in 1957 in Russellville, Arkansas, Womack currently resides in Rogers and holds a BA from Arkansas Tech University, which he earned in 1979.
