City of Centerton issued the following announcement on April 24.
I wanted to give a quick update to the community of approaching weather coming on Sunday. First of all we will be under a Flood Watch from 7am Sunday to 7am Monday morning.
We are expecting significant rainfall to come in several waves starting after midnight tonight and we do have the potential of flash flooding as we are expecting 3-4 inches of rain.
If you see the road is flooded, please Turn Around and Don’t Drown, also if baracades are up or caution tape do not drive around these, these are placed there for your safety and will be removed when the threat is cleared.
