On October 7, 2023, Rep. Womack commented on the violent events involving Hamas and Israel. He described it as "the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust," stating that "Hamas murdered, raped, and kidnapped thousands of innocent Israelis." Womack supported Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions by asserting that "Netanyahu's response is justified" and emphasized Israel's right to self-defense against terrorism.
