City of Bentonville issued the following announcement on Mar. 11.
Due to slick roads and extremely cold conditions, the Run Bentonville Race Series: Irish 5K/10K, originally planned for Saturday, March 12, has been postponed until Saturday, March 19. The 10K will start at 7:30am, followed by the 5K at 7:45am. Please note that these times are different than originally scheduled based on daylight savings time which happens this weekend. If you are unable to run the race in person next weekend at the Bentonville Community Center, you are encouraged to run virtually. Return your timing chip to the Downtown Activity Center during the month of March and collect your finisher’s medal. Online registration will not reopen.
We plan to continue packet pick up next week during the following days/times:
Downtown Activity Center | 215 SW A Street | Bentonville
Thursday | March 17: 8:00am – 6:00pm
Friday | March 18: 8:00am – 6:00pm
