Rep. Steve Womack, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas' 3rd district since 2011, shared several updates on social media recently. Born in Russellville, Arkansas, in 1957 and currently residing in Rogers, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA in 1979.
On March 10, Rep. Womack expressed support for a sports event involving Arkansas State University. He tweeted: "Tonight, @AStateMB will take on Troy. Good luck!"
The following day, March 11, he discussed his legislative efforts to improve healthcare access for veterans. In his tweet he stated: "Today, I spoke at @HouseVetAffairs's hearing about my bill, the Protecting Veteran Access to Telemedicine Services Act, and urged its passage." He emphasized the importance of ensuring that veterans have access to necessary healthcare services regardless of their location.
Later on March 11, Rep. Womack announced his vote on a significant budgetary measure. He shared: "My statement on why I just voted YES on the full-year continuing resolution."
