Rep. Steve Womack, representing Arkansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently taken to social media to discuss a range of legislative and commemorative topics. In his latest series of tweets, he addresses issues concerning veterans' access to healthcare, pays tribute to former President Ronald Reagan, and announces the passage of significant legislation regarding fentanyl.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Womack announced the reintroduction of a bill aimed at improving healthcare access for veterans through telemedicine. He stated: "Easing access to critical care for America’s heroes is vital, and that’s why I reintroduced the Protecting Veteran Access to Telemedicine Services Act today. This bill ensures veterans—including the millions of rural veterans without convenient access to VA clinics—will continue…".

Later on the same day, Rep. Womack took a moment to honor America's 40th President with a birthday message highlighting his leadership qualities: "Happy birthday to America's 40th President, Ronald Reagan! His leadership focused on America's foundational values - strength, faith, and freedom."

In another tweet from February 6, 2025, Rep. Womack announced the passage of the HALT Fentanyl Act by the House GOP—a measure he cosponsored—aimed at combating illicit fentanyl trafficking: " @HouseGOP just passed the HALT Fentanyl Act, a bill I cosponsor. Illicit fentanyl poisoning is the leading cause of death among young adults 18 to 45 years old. We can save lives by making the HALT Fentanyl Act law to crack down on criminal drug traffickers and keep these…"
