On February 11, 2025, Rep. Womack expressed opposition to using special codes to track gun and ammunition sales. He stated that this practice infringes upon Americans exercising their constitutional rights. He announced his support as an original cosponsor of Rep. Riley Moore's bill aimed at preventing payment processors from establishing what he describes as an unconstitutional backdoor gun registry. "Using a special code to track gun and ammo sales on Americans simply exercising their constitutional right is plain wrong."

Later that day, Womack addressed the importance of small businesses to the economy and emphasized efforts to simplify operations for small business owners.
