On January 27, 2025, Rep. Womack commemorated the Holocaust Remembrance Day by honoring the memory of the six million Jews and other victims who perished under the Nazi regime. He emphasized the importance of preventing such atrocities in the future, stating "Today, we remember and honor the lives of the 6 million Jews and other innocent victims senselessly murdered by the Nazi regime. We must remain committed to ensuring such atrocities never happen again."

On January 28, 2025, he announced Sean Duffy's appointment as Secretary of Transportation and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with him in his capacity as Chairman of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee.
