Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is concluding the summer with a series of events and exhibitions. The museum is preparing for new focus exhibitions, fall Forest Concerts, and the final weeks of "The Beyond: Georgia O’Keeffe and Contemporary Art." This exhibition features over 30 works by O’Keeffe alongside pieces from 20 contemporary artists. Visitors can attend a figure drawing class on August 8 and a Spotlight Talk on August 10 with artists Tshabalala Self and Molly Larkey. The exhibition closes on September 3, 2018.

In collaboration with Crystal Bridges, the 21c Museum Hotel-Bentonville is hosting the Bentonville and Beyond Weekend Getaway contest. This includes a two-night stay at the hotel, tickets to "The Beyond," lunch at Eleven restaurant, and a discount in the Museum Store. The contest runs until August 7.

The Summer Fling event will occur on August 18 featuring Austin-based musician Kalu and the Electric Joint. Activities include games like cornhole and volleyball, along with food trucks and a beer garden.

Two new focus exhibitions will open on September 1: Amy Sherald's collection of paintings and "In Conversation: Will Wilson and Edward Curtis," which examines depictions of Native Americans in photography.

The Forest Concert Series continues through summer with its last concert on August 11 featuring 1 Oz. Jig before starting the fall series on September 8 with Opal Agafia & The Sweet Nothings.

All programs offer wheelchair accessibility, ASL interpretation upon request, and other accommodations for guests with disabilities.

A variety of other events are scheduled throughout August including outdoor movie screenings, musical performances, meditation sessions, yoga classes, book club meetings, art discussions, concerts, workshops, lectures, guided tours focusing on nature's nocturnal pollinators, culinary arts experiences with regional chefs and artists collaborations.
