Washington, DC— Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) voted in support of Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna’s (FL-13) resolution to censure and condemn Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-30) which passed the U.S. House of Representatives on June 21, 2023.

Congressman Womack said, “Adam Schiff misrepresented facts important in the Mueller probe and should be held accountable. The censure vote on June 21, was appropriate, given the nature of the investigation. The previous resolution suggesting a $16 million fine was at a minimum prejudicial, if not outright unconstitutional. I am pleased we were able to remove that language and publicly denounce Mr. Schiff’s actions.”

Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) has represented Arkansas’s Third Congressional District since 2011. He is a member of the House Appropriations Committee.
