Northwest Arkansas Classical Academy High School issued the following announcement on June 2.
The Dean of Lower School Students will provide oversight and support for Lower School (K-6) students and teachers. The Lower School Dean will manage Lower School discipline, serve as a resource for parents and teachers on problems affecting the character development of the student, coordinate and organize FCA Rogers Lower School testing (MAP, ACT Aspire, etc.), consult with Founders Classical District Testing Coordinator as it relates to assessment needs, and assist with coordinating lower school activities and calendar.
Special Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of Founders curriculum and instructional model
Ability to develop good rapport with students
Ability to respond in a calm proactive manner in discipline situations
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of state requirements and regulations as related to assessments
Ability to implement and interpret policy, procedures, and data
