Bentonville West High School issued the following announcement on May 24.
West students from Professional Communication shared their experience of presenting their pitch of a Centerton Community Center to community leaders with students from Thaden, who are currently working on a similar project. Students were able to discuss the challenges of group work, the data they researched and the benefits of doing professional presentations. Thaden students look for advice as they wrap up their project. “What a great experience to have kids sharing their educational experiences. I love the opportunity for leadership and peer interactions among a learning community across NWA. Both groups of students were looking to improve their community… giving back and making a difference is such an important value that can be fostered in the classroom!” - Coach Marshall
