City of Gravette issued the following announcement on May 26.
Officer Braxton Handle received a letter of commendation from Chief Chuck Skaggs for a pursuit that he took over back in March. He gave excellent instructions to dispatch and fellow officers involved in the pursuit which started in Pea Ridge and went through several cities before being terminated. It was picked up again in Decatur and came through Gravette, ending up in Jay, Oklahoma. Officer Handle did an outstanding job. Pursuits are extremely dangerous to officers and the public. Congratulations, Officer Handle!
