Gentry Ace Hardware is scheduled to open on April 24.

Located at 905 Gentry Blvd, the new Ace store will work to bring a unique experience to DIY lovers.

"The store has been designed to reflect the needs of the Gentry community, including solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in categories such as paint, lawn and garden," Ace officials said in a press release by Ace Hardware.

Ace has been around for 90 years, according to the release. There are over 5,500 locally owned and operated stores across the world.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Ace Hardware said in the release. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

Lawn, paint and garden are the main categories of products to be offered to customers who walk through store doors.

"The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes," Ace officials said, according to the release. "Key product offerings include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home décor, as well as niche products such as Yeti, Scotts, STIHL, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee, Ben Moore, Traeger, Weber."

Ace is headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois and there are 14 company distribution centers in the United States.'

Shanghai, China; Panama City, Panama; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates are global distribution center locations.
