Rep. Steve Womack discusses regulatory burdens and infrastructure priorities

Rep. Steve Womack, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas' 3rd district, shared insights from his recent engagements through a series of tweets. Womack, who has been in office since 2011 after succeeding John Boozman, emphasized his commitment to addressing business challenges and infrastructure needs while also highlighting important social causes.

On February 2, 2025, Rep. Womack reflected on his visit to The Fishin' Company, where he discussed the difficulties businesses face due to federal regulations. He stated, "I had a great visit with the folks at The Fishin' Company last week. I heard about the challenges they face, including burdensome federal regulations." He further expressed his legislative goal to ensure that federal policies do not complicate business operations.

Two days later, on February 4, 2025, Womack visited another congressional district and highlighted his role as Chairman of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Subcommittee on House Appropriations. He remarked on the importance of understanding community needs across the country by stating "It was great to visit my friend @RepChuck's district yesterday."

Also on February 4th, Rep. Womack marked World Cancer Day by acknowledging cancer patients and survivors while advocating for continued efforts toward finding a cure. His tweet read: "On #WorldCancerDay, we come together to support cancer patients..."
