Congressman Steve Womack of Arkansas' Third Congressional District has been sworn in for his eighth term in the United States House of Representatives. Following the ceremony, he released a statement emphasizing his commitment to serving the people of his district.
"Serving Third District Arkansans is the honor of my life and a duty I will never take for granted," Womack stated. He expressed confidence with Republicans controlling both chambers of Congress and the White House, asserting that they are "determined to revive the American dream and get our nation back on track after a disastrous four years under the Biden Administration."
Womack outlined key priorities including border security, global leadership, economic growth, and fiscal responsibility. He affirmed his dedication to supporting conservative values that align with those of Arkansas families. "I’m grateful for the continued trust of Arkansans and will continue to deliver superior constituent service and ensure their values are represented in Washington," he added.
The congressman represents Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Madison, Sebastian, and Washington Counties in Arkansas. His offices are located in Rogers, Fort Smith, and Washington D.C., where constituents can reach out for assistance.
Earlier today, Congressman Womack presided over the opening session of the 118th Congress's final meeting and led members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
