Steve Womack congratulates ARDOT director on retirement and welcomes new U.S. citizen

Rep. Steve Womack, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 3rd district since 2011, shared several updates through his social media account recently. Born in Russellville, Arkansas in 1957 and currently residing in Rogers, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a BA in 1979.

On December 5, Rep. Womack extended his congratulations to Lorie Tudor, Director of the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), on her upcoming retirement. He acknowledged her dedication as a lifelong public servant committed to developing an efficient and safe transportation system for Arkansans.

Later that day, Rep. Womack addressed issues related to waste management and taxpayer protection through his work with the House Appropriations Committee GOP colleagues. In his post, he expressed appreciation for efforts by @DOGE to highlight these concerns and anticipated discussions with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy during a meeting organized by House Republicans.

On December 6, Rep. Womack celebrated the naturalization of Martín Pérez, a pitcher for the San Diego Padres, congratulating him on becoming a U.S. citizen through another post.
