It's been a long time coming, but construction has started on the high school section of the walk-bike trail. This segment will stretch along Main Street between the the existing sidewalk that ends at Eleventh Ave. SE and the high school back parking lot near the football field. It will provide a safe way to travel to and from the high school once complete. Once the contractor is finished on this portion, they will move to Dallas Street SW to begin work on that trail section.
