CITY OF BENTONVILLE: Bentonville Accepting Applications to Serve on the Board of Adjustments and Public Art Advisory Com.

The City of Bentonville is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on either the Board of Adjustments or the Public Art Advisory Committee. These are Mayor recommended, City Council appointed boards.

The Board of Adjustments is a quasi-judicial board that hears and decides on request for variances from the zoning ordinance and on staff interpretations of the zoning ordinance. The Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and City Council on policy matters pertaining to art on public property. Arts professionals, such as curators, visual artist, art critics, art historians, art collectors, art fabricators, architects, landscape architects, graphic artists, and art educators are encouraged to apply. Applicants must live in the corporate limits of Bentonville, be a registered voter and able to attend regularly scheduled meetings and occasional special meetings.
