Governor Asa Hutchinson recently announced creation of the Arkansas Council on Future Mobility, an advisory board committed to attracting businesses, startups, innovators, and creators. The University of Arkansas recently announced a planning grant to support its vision of becoming the preeminent university in smart mobility.
The UP Summit, a festival of 300 of the world's brightest minds in mobility innovation, is held in Bentonville every other year. DroneUp, Gatik, Zipline, and others, are using Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas as their smart mobility testing area, while electric vehicle maker Canoo has relocated here.
