CITY OF CENTERTON: In need of school supplies or clothing

Anyone in need of school supplies or clothing? Please see attached post and reach out to Kelly Connelly she can help.

We are FINALLY getting around to cleaning out the garage! (When we had to clear every single thing off our floors (even in all closets) so the guys could lay our new floors down, everything was kind of tossed in and went “out of sight, out of mind.” (Well, that and no one really wanted to go through it all after we saw the tsunami we caused! Lol)

Before we donate all of these boxes of clothes and toys, I really wanted to drive around my community and find families that might really need new clothes for their children. That, of course, would be nice and ideal, but I don’t think it’s very practical with everything we have.

So, I’m asking for my friends to please share this so anyone going through some tough times right now, could get some of the first picks of the sizes they need. (I also thought, since I have so many teacher friends on here, they may know of some needy families off hand. In that case, I would be happy to go through some of the boxes and look for the sizes needed. I have lots of boy & girl clothing of all sizes, pretty much.

If we end up not hearing about any families in need, we will just donate it all. (I guess I just wanted to, first, give away for free to anyone in need, and my second choice would have been to give it away for a store to sell to the community. I know some stores still help the community with some of their profits they make, but even then, some families can’t afford their prices either or can’t afford many items after they add up.)

Sorry, for the long post, I just really wanted to get this message across so it may reach as many people in need as possible.

Thank you, Community Warriors!
