Greater Bentonville Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on May 20.

In 2021 the “average” sale price of a home in Bentonville was $440,000 and for all of Benton Co., it was $345,500.

With home prices in this range, how feasible is it for teachers/nurses/firefighters/police officers/bank staff/construction workers, and on and on to find a place to live? More importantly, where do we as a community go from here?

This will be our next discussion at the upcoming Build Bentonville Lunch on June 2nd. Please join us (register early before it’s sold out) and hear from this amazing panel of experts moderated by Duke McLarty, Executive Director of the Northwest Arkansas Council Workforce Housing Center.
