City of Gravette issued the following announcement on April 12.
There is a threat of severe weather this week. Please make sure to have multiple ways of receiving weather alerts like an NOAA weather radio, BC Alert, or local news weather apps. The outdoor severe weather sirens were tested last week and all are in working order except the one by Sonic. We contacted the repair company several months ago to fix it. They have been waiting on parts for months and they hope to have the parts in another 3-4 weeks. Please remember, these sirens are an outdoor warning only and are not meant to be your primary source of severe weather notification. You can sign up for BC Alert here: http://www.bcalert.com/
