City of Gravette issued the following announcement on April 9.
Resumes are now being accepted to fill the ward one vacant council member position. Applicants must live in the city limits, must reside in ward one (orange area circled on map), and must be able to meet the criteria to run for municipal office. Meetings typically occur on the second and fourth Thursday of the month. Those interested in filling this position should submit a resume and cover letter to info@gravettear.com by 4:00 pm on April 11. This information will be presented to the City Council to review at the April 14 meeting and a replacement will be selected at the April 28 meeting. All applicants should plan on attending the April 14 Committee of the Whole meeting to make a brief presentation to the City Council about themselves.
