PC of Bella Vista Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Mar. 27.

Lenten Soup Suppers will be held every TUESDAY during Lent at 5:00 pm in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome. The cost is $4.00 per person. Please sign up in the Information Center EACH WEEK so we know how many to prepare for. *Also, please bring a can of soup each week to share with the hungry in our area.* Following supper, there will be a brief Taizé worship service.

The schedule is as follows: 5:00 pm … Soup Served / 5:30 pm … Taizé Service 5:45 pm … Clean Up.

The Fellowship Committee will make and serve the soups for each supper and do the setup for each supper. Each Shepherd Group will be responsible for serving the soup and cleaning up. The second soup supper on Tuesday, March 29 will be hosted by Shepherd Group #2. The soup will be Bear Creek Minestrone. (*) Soup donations will go to area food pantries to give to our neighbors in need. Any kind of soup (other than fresh) will be appreciated: condensed, microwave, dry, ready-to-eat, large or small sizes. Please remember, no out-of-date soups.
