Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Mar. 6.
The Rogers Short Film Festival, presented by StudioChunky, continues Saturday and Sunday at the Victory Theater in historic Downtown Rogers. The weekend is filled with screenings, networking, food, music, and entertainment.
The competition includes 33 Films in categories including: (1) a student category for ages through high school; (2) a post-secondary student category; (3) an amateur category for first-time filmmakers or films not backed by a production company or outside funding; and (4) a professional category.
This weekend's event includes a VIP Lounge for filmmakers and all-access pass holders; a Filmmaker’s Happy Hour at Kinya Christian's Into+View Art Gallery and Studio; a networking breakfast at ONYX Coffee Lab’s Dry Storage event space; an awards ceremony; and an awards after party hosted by Rockhill Studios at The 120 A Tapas Bar.
Tickets are still available for purchase online at www.ArkansasPublicTheatre.org, or at the door throughout the festival.
