PC of Bella Vista Presbyterian Church issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
This Valentine’s Day, that wonderful day we remember those we love, the Mission Committee will be launching our 2022 quarterly projects to help resettle refugees. The Canopy group we work with has placed about 60 refugees yearly since 2016. With the Afghan crisis and continuing global relocations, they have settled over 130 in just the last six months. To help meet this growing need we will offer three ways to contribute:
¨ Help assemble household Welcome Kits
¨ Donate gently used furniture
¨ Give to help newly arriving families Look for details in the Weekly News and Sunday Announcements, pick what suits you best, and share the love of Christ with new neighbors. For more information, please contact Brien Hodge (858-603-4638).
