City of Centerton issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Centerton USA, the snowfall has ended and initial reports I am seeing is we received about 2 inches mostly in the grassy areas. I did see some photos from some of you building some awesome snowmen.
Right now Cold wind chills will continue through this morning with temperatures slowly warming into upper 30s to upper 40s by mid afternoon.
Road conditions are clear, I would ask for you to slow down a little this morning especially on bridges or overpasses in the event of possible isolated black ice.
Also I would like to say Good Job to all of our employees who watched the storm to keep us all safe.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and enjoys the sunshine.
One last reminder City Hall is closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day, and just a reminder trash service will not be delayed and will pickup as scheduled, please have your cans out by 6am.
Mayor Bill
