City of Gravette issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Benton County Solid Waste is accepting real Christmas trees at no charge at their Centerton facility (5702 Brookside Rd.) through January 15. Artificial trees are accepted year round at no charge. Visit https://www.bentoncountyrecycles.org/ for more information.
The District will accept live/real Christmas trees at no charge through January 15th at our Brookside Road facility ONLY. The normal $5 fee will be waived during this period.
Artificial trees are accepted year round at all Special Waste Drop Off locations at no charge.
All decorations must be removed from every tree whether real or artificial. Pre-lighted artificial trees are fine. Citizens must unload the tree onto the ground themselves.
