City of Bentonville issued the following announcement on Dec. 1.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Mayor’s 2022 Community Council for the City of Bentonville.
The Mayor's Community Council was initiated in 2020, by Mayor Stephanie Orman. The Council brings the community together to discuss and work toward building a closer and more connected Bentonville through mutual respect, integrity, diversity, and fairness.
Members will serve 1 year (January - December). During this 12 month program, participants will hear from a different City Department about their responsibilities/functions within the City.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of the month from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Attendance is required to earn a certificate at the end of the program.
