CITY OF CENTERTON: Update on the Severe Weather

Update

City of Centerton issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

Just a update on the approaching possibility of Severe Weather, currently we still remain in a Enhanced Risk for severe weather with the possibility damaging winds with gusts up to 65 miles per hour and large hail and the limited possibility of tornadoes.

Please make sure you have a way to receive weather alerts, there are several apps out there and one I like to promote is BC Alert, which is free alert system to residents of Benton County. You can sign up today at www.bcalert.com

Also the timing for our area appears to be 5-7 pm, and I will post any updates as needed as we get closer.

Let’s all stay safe.

Mayor Bill
