City of Centerton issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Monthly Coffee with the Mayor scheduled at 9am has been canceled and our next event is on October 16th at 9am.
Early this morning there was a water line break in front of city hall and the crews are working to restore but due to the work area and equipment I decided it would be better to cancel the event.
I have been advised the crews are working to restore water to a small area around city hall and hope to have it restored sometime this morning.
I wanted to say Good Job to the Centerton Utilities, Centerton Public Works, Centerton Police, Centerton Fire and Centerton Building Safety Departments for responding early this morning and working to restore service as a team.
Also there is a area in front of city hall that has been dug up and our crews are making temporary repairs so Main Street can remain open, please use caution in the area if you are traveling northbound on Main Street.
