City of Bentonville issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
Installs, modifies, and makes repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to system users by performing the following duties. Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet City needs or operational requirements. Technician Level II/II are advanced skill level where employees perform the advanced functions and tasks. Employees will be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of information technology systems, including equipment logistics, system setup and configuration, system security, software installation, preventive maintenance, and workstation connections. Completed assignments are reviewed for conformance with timelines, standards, policies and procedures. IT Technician Levels II and III generally required 5+ years of IT Technician skills and experience and IT certifications commensurate with this lever of work experience. MUST have working knowledge of “New World Public Safety Software” and working experience with “Public Safety Departments” is highly desired. A complete job description is available on request.
