On Saturday, April 5, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 15-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.
The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their second matchup against the Jets this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Newman Jets.
