Rep. Steve Womack, currently serving Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District, has recently made several public statements on various issues, ranging from military service academy events to legislative achievements. Known for his long-standing commitment to education and national pride, Womack’s recent activities continue to reflect his dedication to these values.
On April 26, 2025, Womack expressed gratitude to participants of an annual event by stating, “Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s U.S. Military Service Academy Day! It was a pleasure speaking with so many students interested in opportunities at service academies and ROTC.”
Two days later, on April 28, 2025, Womack shared news about legislative progress, noting, “Today, the House passed a bill, which I proudly cosponsored, to award three Congressional Gold Medals to the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team who inspired millions with their extraordinary ‘Miracle on Ice’ victory against the Soviet Union at the Lake Placid Winter Olympic.”
Also on April 28, 2025, Womack congratulated young scholars by saying, “Congratulations to the Third District students of Fayetteville High School and Haas Hall Academy in Rogers for advancing to the @DOE_SC_NSB finals. These brilliant young minds represent the future of our nation, and their achievements bring pride to our district.”
Womack, a native of Russellville, Arkansas, and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, has been serving in Congress since taking over from John Boozman in 2011. He currently resides in Rogers and continues to represent his district with fervor.
