Representative Steve Womack, serving Arkansas’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared his viewpoints and activities through a series of tweets. Womack, who has held his position since 2011 and succeeded John Boozman, took to social media to highlight significant national, personal, and local updates.
On April 29, 2025, Womack expressed support for President Trump’s achievements in his first 100 days in office, particularly concerning immigration policy. “In the first 100 days, @POTUS Trump has delivered huge wins for our nation, securing our borders and halting the surge of illegal crossings witnessed under Biden. National security begins with strong border policies, and I’m pleased to see this administration making it a top.”
The following day, April 30, Womack paid homage to House Photographer Phi Nguyen’s narrative of perseverance and success. “Today, I had the honor of recognizing a remarkable individual and his inspiring American Dream story: House Photographer Phi Nguyen. Phi and his family fled Vietnam just days before the fall of Saigon in 1975, seeking the promise of a better future in the U.S. They found it —.”
Also, on April 30, Womack provided insight into his engagement with Arkansas’ business community, emphasizing his discussions on fiscal matters. “This morning, I visited with the Arkansas State Chamber, briefing local business and industry leaders on the latest developments with budget reconciliation and the appropriations process. Federal decisions impact our economic growth back home and, I always welcome discussions.”
Steve Womack, who was born in Russellville, Arkansas, in 1957 and now resides in Rogers, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Arkansas Tech University in 1979.
