Rep. Steve Womack, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 3rd District, shared updates reflecting his recent engagements and efforts to enhance regional development and national energy policies. Rep. Womack, who succeeded John Boozman in Congress in 2011, has been focusing on housing affordability and energy initiatives within his district.
On April 23, 2025, Rep. Womack expressed the privilege of hosting Secretary Turner, showcasing the Third District’s efforts in expanding housing affordability. He stated, “It was an honor to host @SecretaryTurner and showcase how the Third District is leading the way in expanding housing affordability.”
Further that day, Rep. Womack, in company with Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, welcomed Secretary Turner and emphasized the remarkable activities underway throughout the Third District of Arkansas. He tweeted, “Gov. @SarahHuckabee Sanders and I had a great time welcoming @SecretaryTurner, highlighting the incredible work happening across Arkansas’s Third District.”
Later, Rep. Womack addressed the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society, discussing American energy strategies and federal fiscal policies aimed at advancing energy independence. He noted, “Today, I had the opportunity to speak with the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society about the importance of unleashing American energy dominance and employing fiscal responsibility on the federal level.”
Combining his long-standing service since 2011 and a focus on pivotal policies, Womack continues to influence discussions on regional and national growth. Born in Russellville, Arkansas, he earned a Bachelor of Arts from Arkansas Tech University in 1979, presently residing in Rogers.
