On April 10, 2025, Rep. Womack announced that the House had passed the SAVE Act, a legislative measure designed to ensure that only American citizens participate in voting. He expressed his involvement in the process, stating, “Earlier today the House passed the SAVE Act to ensure only American citizens vote in our elections. I was proud to cosponsor this important bill!”
The following day, April 11, 2025, Rep. Womack commended members of the Arkansas National Guard for their achievement in an international competition. Steve Womack was born in Russellville, Arkansas, in 1957 and currently resides in Rogers. He assumed office after succeeding John Boozman in 2011. Womack, now 66, graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts.
