On Wednesday, March 26, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri State Lions.
The game took place at Warren Turner Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
