On Wednesday, April 9, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri State Lions.
The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their second matchup against the Lions this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 2 p.m. at RCB Bank Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
