On Sunday, March 23, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Fort Hays State Tigers.
The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at Warren Turner Field against Missouri State Lions.
