On Thursday, May 22, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current collegiate team the Pittsburg State Gorillas lost 5-7 against the Central Missouri Mules in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Central Missouri Mules in the tournament.

The Pittsburg State Gorillas’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 12 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field.
