On Tuesday, April 1, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Drury Panthers.

The game took place at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Newman Jets.
