On Sunday, March 30, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park against Drury Panthers.
