On Friday, April 18, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 17-16 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Washburn Ichabods.
The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Ichabods this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Warren Turner Field against Missouri State Lions.
