Employers in Benton Times publication area filed 333 H-1B petitions throughout 2024

Employers based in the Benton Times publication area submitted 333 H-1B petitions during 2024, according to data provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services via the H-1B Employer Data Hub. Of these, 317 were approved (95.2%), while 16 were denied (4.8%).

Employers are classified under industries based on their reported operations and may be involved in multiple industries.

The H-1B visa program allows U.S. employers to temporarily hire foreign workers in specialty occupations requiring specialized knowledge and at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Meanwhile, the Transportation and Warehousing industry was the second largest contributor, filing 75 petitions (22.5% of the total), with an approval rate of 97.3%.

The Benton Times publication area employers with the most petitions during 2024 included JB Hunt Transport, Inc., which filed 78 petitions with an approval rate of 98.7%, Federal Soft Systems, Inc. with 51 petitions and an approval rate of 94.1%, and Invincible Technician Systems, Inc., which filed 42 petitions with an approval rate of 97.6%.

Compared to 2023, the Benton Times publication area saw a 1.5% decrease in the number of H-1B petitions during 2024.
