On Sunday, March 23, former Bentonville High School standout Trista Peterson’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Emporia State Hornets.
The game took place at PSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Hornets this season.
The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at RCB Bank Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
