On Friday, March 28, former Bentonville High School standout JJ Spafford’s current college team, the Pittsburg State Gorillas, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northeastern State Riverhawks.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their first matchup against the Riverhawks this season.

The Gorillas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 5 p.m. at Al Ortolani Field against Northeastern State Riverhawks.
